Summary

Gatsb.com allows users to talk pictures with their camera phone and post them to a map for their friends to see.

Maps can be covered in the pictures taken around a city, and friends get notifications of the recent maps.

The current version of Gatsb is hosted at gatsb.com and is maintained by Andre de Cavaignac (http://www.decav.com)

More Information

After publishing Gatsb and receiving a few users, but not having time to contribute towards it, I have decided to release it as open source so other users can contribute or take pieces and build something new.

This project demonstrates .NET 3.0, Workflow Foundation and ASP.NET Ajax. It is a great demonstration of connecting Wofkflow Foundation to a text message interface and keeping a "text message session" open.

In addition, it demonstrates how to create a database of geocoordinates, how to do some geotagging, and also demonstates the use of the Microsoft Virtual Earth Maps (I tried to use Google maps but the developer API wasn't working right on localhost!)

Although I'd love to say the code is beautiful, it was written in spare time and there are certainly some hacks in there to just get it working and up. Forgive me if you get confused :-)
